What do I love about working for the college?
I most enjoy helping create events that provide people a chance to connect outside of their usual work week. It can be really rewarding when people make a friend or learn something new at an event I helped create. I love supporting the people in arts and sciences that are making a difference for our students and bringing together new and exciting ideas.
What do I do for the college?
I plan any college level events—from retreats and award ceremonies to providing a location and catering for one-off meetings. I book meeting spaces and fulfill room requests such as technology needs or acquiring special items for meetings.
Kudos Program
College events sometimes ask our staff to go outside their normal job parameters. Kudos has been great for me to recognize all of the work others do to make our events a success.
