What do I love about working for the college?
I truly love being part of a campus that values learning, growth, and community. The College of Arts and Sciences is such a dynamic and inspiring environment, and I enjoy supporting the meaningful work that impacts both students and faculty. It is also incredibly rewarding to be both an employee and a student at UT. I get to experience the university from both perspectives, which makes it even more special.
In my work, I enjoy being able to help things run smoothly behind the scenes. Whether it’s coordinating meetings, supporting the associate deans and directors, or assisting with processes like promotion and tenure, I take pride in being someone others can rely on. I love being organized, detail-oriented, and knowing that my work helps support the bigger picture of the college’s success.
What do I do for the college?
I support the associate deans and directors and help manage daily operations within the dean’s suite. I strive to create an organized and welcoming environment that allows leadership, faculty, and staff to focus on their work. While much of what I do happens behind the scenes, I know it contributes to the overall success of the college and supports both students and faculty in meaningful ways.
In addition, I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Cultures and Societies within the college. Balancing full-time work and school has been a meaningful journey, and I enjoy campus events and performances when I can. Being engaged as both a student and a staff member helps me feel even more connected to the UT community.

It is truly humbling and means more than I can express. I take great pride in my work, so being recognized by others is incredibly encouraging. It motivates me to continue doing my best and reminds me that even the small details and everyday tasks can make a difference.
