Faculty Development
The Denbo Center is committed to supporting UT faculty across our arts and humanities departments and colleges through professional development opportunities, our book proposal and manuscript review programs, grant-writing workshops, and more.
Manuscript Review Program
Tenure-stream faculty may apply to organize a 1-2-hour online workshop during which external reviewers discuss their manuscript’s readiness for submission and offer concrete suggestions for improving it. For more information, please see the Denbo Center’s Sharepoint site.
Book Proposal Review Program

Writing Accountability Programs
WriteOnSite is a suite of writing accountability programs hosted by the DCHA for arts and humanities faculty and graduate students, including regular drop-in writing hours in the Center, writing workshops, and faculty writing retreats. Workshops
The DCHA regularly hosts additional workshops for faculty on a variety of topics, from grant writing to trade publishing, such as the 2026 Scholars to Storytellers trade publication workshop.
