You don’t have to give up your creative passions to build a successful career.
In the University of Tennessee’s College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) your artistic talents can thrive while you work toward professional goals. Inspiring faculty mentors develop artists, performers, filmmakers, writers, and a wide range of related professionals in first-rate facilities.
CAS students gain hands-on experience in arts studios, perform on stage with professional actors at the Clarence Brown Theatre, and learn from working writers and poets.
They cast metal in the foundry on campus, tell stories through film and digital tools, and use cutting-edge tools for a range of activities from recovering lost texts from ancient manuscripts to analyzing today’s social media.
