To earn a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, several requirements must be met. Please review the links to the left for more information about each requirement, and speak with your advisor about any questions you may have.

You must complete all University of Tennessee degree requirements stated in the UT Undergraduate catalog, including those listed in the table below:

Minimum credit hours in major taken at UT	9 hrs
Minimum credit hours in minor taken at UT	6 hrs
Credit hours at a four-year institution	60 hrs
Final credit hours at UT	30 hrs

Please note: In any area outside the major, minor, Foundations, Perspectives, and Upper Level Distribution requirements, you may take up to 20 credit hours of course work graded Satisfactory/No Credit.
