Student Spotlights
Opal Cianciolo
Opal Cianciolo applied her lifelong affinity for starry nights and Star Trek to an undergraduate Vol experience full of research collaboration, gaining leadership skills, and an enthusiasm for educating new generations.
Kaden Cobb
Kaden Cobb earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in three years, while enjoying multiple opportunities for learning, leadership, and living the Volunteer life.
Jennifer Gary
Jennifer Gary’s dual major in psychology and cinema studies allowed her to pursue career and creative interests.
Javier Gomez Marchant
While earning a bachelor’s degree in physics, Javier Gómez Marchant participated in research at UT and ORNL that fueled his desire to become a theoretical astrophysicist.
Jerred Russell
Jerred Russell faced unexpected physical challenges in his journey to earn a PhD in chemistry at UT. He graduates from UT this spring with an unstoppable Volunteer Spirit and a desire to teach.
