Educational Philosophy
I believe that education can be a critical component in the holistic growth and development of people. A college education not only introduces broad and focused academic knowledge, but also opens doors for students to learn more about people, culture, and life outside of their worldview. Failure is part of education, as it is part of life, but learning and growing after a setback is critical. Students evolve through their time in higher education as experiences and knowledge shape their beliefs and values. As I continue to learn about education and the world around me, my educational philosophy too is constantly evolving.
