I consider myself a Vol for Life, so I enjoy all things UT, especially football games in Neyland Stadium. I love to travel, meet new people/experience new cultures, and seek adventure- like sky diving! Other interests of mine include discovering new coffee shops and chatting with a friend over a cup of coffee, spending time outdoors, playing board games, and most recently watching shows on HGTV to get inspiration for my new home! Last but not least, I love spending time with my husband and 2 cats, and we’ll be spending lots of time with our new chocolate lab puppy soon!

I believe education is a process like most things in life, not merely a transmission of knowledge. Learning does not begin and end when you enter and leave a classroom, but happens constantly. Recently I have been embracing failure or mistakes as part of the learning process, because I’ve come to find that they are only failures or mistakes if we don’t learn something from them or take the chance to grow. Perfection is the enemy of great and innovation. I also think everyone could benefit from studying abroad!
