I am a pretty solid home-body so I like relaxing at home with my family and binge watching Netflix (or watching The Office or Parks and Rec for the millionth time). Generally, I love spending time with family and friends, discovering and patronizing local restaurants and shops, and the occasional theatrical performance!

If you were to ask me about the memorable moments from my undergraduate career, I would not share experiences from my Humanities class or projects from Economics or papers I wrote for my Religion class. Instead, I would tell you about my experiences as a member of a sorority or studying abroad or my work study responsibilities. It was my time outside of the classroom that greatly shaped my college career and my development as a person. College isn’t just about one’s academic performance. College is a time to discover oneself and to grow as a person whether that is through extracurricular involvement, service learning, or study abroad. There are so many opportunities to take advantage of during these years that will have a profound impact on the human beings that we, as an institution, send out into the world!
