I really enjoy music, dancing, fitness and art. My versatile dancing ranges from sliding across the floor in my squeaky shoes to shimmying in my seat. I like to capture the microscopic moments of life by finding joy in the present each day. At Rocky Top, I have an appreciation for our robust BIG Orange color and the capitalized T’s displayed all throughout campus. To refresh, I enjoy having an army of "LOL" moments in any conversation or accidental tangents that allow us to create fun memories. My Zen state of mind happens when I am drinking tea or mocha, sitting on a deck, relaxing in a hammock, while listening to bird sounds, or when I am near a lake or a waterfall.

Learning shapes who you are and who you will become. Building good study practices, learning new strategies and creating a healthy lifestyle are some ways to thrive in a positive or negative environment. It is important to involve others in your educational process. I recommend developing your own “dream team” comprised of people who inspire you to be well-rounded and promote hands on experiences. You have a choice on how people impact your learning process.
It’s as if we’ve divided the world into “those who offer help” and “those who need help.” The truth is that we are both. –Brene Brown
