Coordinator for Academic Advising, Departments of English and History
I am a lifelong Atlanta sports fan, no matter how rough it gets, and I’ll always cheer on the Vols. I absolutely love Harry Potter, books and movies, and have made almost the entire advising staff sort themselves (on Pottermore of course). I’m a proud Hufflepuff. You can frequently hear me quoting The Office and Parks and Recreation. I enjoy running, hiking, and going to the dog park with Bruce Wayne, my Batdog.

I believe that education changes us in the most important ways possible. You learn to question the world around you, what you’ve been taught, to learn what it means to be a citizen in a global society, and to think critically about things that you read and hear. Education should not be a chore that you check off a list, but rather an opportunity to become your best self; someone who can change the world that they live in.
