Academic Advisor for the Department of Psychology
Biography
I am a proud graduate of UT Knoxville and a big fan of just about anything related to sports. In addition to the Vols, you can find me cheering on my hometown Detroit teams (yes, even the Lions when they went 0-16) and the University of Michigan. In my free time I enjoy golfing, exploring new music, watching movies, and being with friends. I love to cook, mostly because I love to eat, and travel whenever possible. Go Vols!!
Education
BA in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville
In progress - MS in College Student Personnel, University of Tennessee - Knoxville
Educational Philosophy
I believe that a quality education is one of the most important tools anyone can possess. To be educated means that you understand how to think critically, evaluate situations and make informed decisions based on relevant facts and research. I believe learning is a lifelong process that occurs both inside and outside of the classroom, and allows us to be more connected global citizens.
