Ben Cooper, a graduate student in the School of Music, is one of two winners at the International Tuba Euphonium Association (ITEA) conference in May. In a new competition category, “Tuba +”, competitors created videos featuring at least one tuba player and were strictly forbidden from collaborating in-person with any other person; these videos were created entirely via online collaboration.
